m2d homescreen weather fix?

going to start cooking up some m2d and flotanium ROMs. havent tried cooking a rom with m2d yet, just installed it on my device. i want to get all the problems fixed before i start cooking roms with it.

anyways....is there a fix for the homescreen weather? i turn on location services and everything and try to update. it says updating but even when its done saying updating it still just says "your city" instead of the actual city name, and there is not any weather info. any help would be greatly appreciated.
