Guest gosiunia1 Posted March 18, 2010 Report Posted March 18, 2010 (edited) I wonder is it possible to surf above the internet for more then 3-5 minutes without necessity of reconnecting. I have to reconnect wifi every few minutes. It doesn't depend on rom, browser, different hot spot, strength of signal or wifi connection (protected/ unprotected). Is this any way to fix it? I was tryin' HKLM\Comm\WiFi\ScanIntervalfrom 60 to 6000 and it's a little bit more stable. Maybe we have to disable scanning? Edited March 18, 2010 by gosiunia1
Guest barki82 Posted March 19, 2010 Report Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) I'm testing now the performance and stability using theese options in my WiFi router (Vigor 2700 VGST): 1. I disabled G on my home router, so it is beaming just in B standard. 2. I changed the channel from channel 6 (it is the default one on my router) to channel 1 to avoid interference with near networks, for more info read this List of WLAN channels. I think that the connection is now little bit more reliable and stable. It's not 100%, but better... Edited March 19, 2010 by barki82

At home I have G support enabled in device (my router is as well in G mode). I'm connecting to wifi without any problems but after few minutes I'm still connected but I have no internet. I have to turn off/turn on wifi again to use internet. Do You have the same?
