Please explain Wallpapers

If I use one of the wallpapers that come with the phone, the picture moves as i swipe to either left or right home screen (I am running 3 screens horiz). If I use a wallpaper off Zedge it doesn't. Is it something I am doing wrong or just how it is?

Could just be a low res picture. Pictures with resolutions less than the screens size wont do the scrolling thing I think.
