This however, is much more interesting. It's a keyboard Huawei released ... It has english letters on it but the text comes out chinese. You're thinking big whoop ...

Press the HANDWRITING BUTTON :) You can DRAW LETTERS and it recognises them.

Not as revolutionary as swype. Not at all. Just interesting.

It's all in one's perspective. This is "revolutionary" if it is exactly what someone has been looking for.

-It toggles between English input, pinyin Chinese input, and handwriting recognition.

-The handwriting recognition can handle Roman letters, simplified Chinese characters, and traditional Chinese characters.

-It has the option of full screen handwriting recognition or (preferred by me) half-screen. Half-screen give you a box into which you can write characters.

-The setup menus are in English, making it much easier to configure for non-native users.

Now, IMHO, if somehow this was combined with Swype, I could settle on just one input system. That would be revolutionary!

The only problem is.....I had to delete some apps before I could install this thing. It's big. :-(
