Hi

I follow the guide how to root the N1. But it can't get it to work. I have unlocked the bootloader, but i can't get the su privilege.

When I'm running a app that needs su. a new window emerge and top left i say SU request but nothing happens.

I used this guide. http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...-the-nexus-one/

I thik I have done that.

This install root permissions into your device:

- WINDOWS - double click 'install-superboot-windows.bat'

- MAC - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x install-superboot-mac.sh' followed by './install-superboot-mac.sh'

- LINUX - Open a terminal window to the directory containing the files, and type 'chmod +x install-superboot-linux.sh' followed by './install-superboot-linux.sh'

Unfortunately everybody neglects to mention you must enable usb debugging before attempting to allow an application root access. Go to settings - applications - development -usb debugging. You may have to force close su permissions and whatever application you were trying to use.
