Guest rickhamilton620 Posted March 22, 2010 Report Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) Hi I'm experiencing a problem involving the cellular radio on my Omnia i910. It periodically shuts off then turns back on at random. The rest of the phone works. Sometimes, it refuses to turn back on and pops up a balloon asking me to check my settings. I've flashed to a different ROM this evening and it hasn't helped. It doesn't bother me much but its unnerving since it started happening after my last ROM flash, and that it forces me to put the phone on vibrate all the time to stop it from making the "Disconnect/Connect" noise. If I can get the message to popup, i'll include it in a screenshot, if it helps. Any suggestions? :) Thanks, this is a great resource! Ricky ;) EDIT: here's the text of the message (wasn't sure if it would go away if i tried to take a screenshot): "Cannot Connect-Dialed #777 Cannot connect for a unknown reason...if the problem persists, contact your manufacturer" (the balloon went away conveniently when i was trying to edit the post...) I had the same issue on some of the 6.5 Roms. I no longer have that issue as I reverted to CF03
Guest Toldo Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Maybe you should both consider changing the radio rom.
Guest rickhamilton620 Posted March 24, 2010 Report Posted March 24, 2010 I had the same issue on some of the 6.5 Roms. I no longer have that issue as I reverted to CF03 I might have to do that, I was on one or two 6.5 Roms where that didn't happen, I might look for a 6.1 custom one. Maybe you should both consider changing the radio rom. Hmm, does simply downloading a new WM ROM flash the radio ROM, or do I have to seek that out separately? Thanks again, Ricky :)
