Hello all, i was just wondering if it were safe to flash my i910 on a Windows 7 Ultimate through a USB 2.0 port.. also any recommendation on 6.5 roms that are stable and finger friendly?

I haven't had any problems with flashing on 32bit or 64bit 7 using the UMDL method shown here. I've read other posts using UMDL Grandprix but i've had no reason to look in to it since the old xp method works fine for me.

First i would make sure that all the drivers are installed for your device. Set up Windows Mobile Device Center so it installs the drivers for the i910. Then i would change your USB connection mode to Mass Storage so that it installs those drivers as well. Power cycle your phone while it's still hooked to the PC and it may install some drivers there.

So.. make sure Windows Mobile Device Center is set up and you have all drivers installed and the UMDL method i linked should work fine.
