Hey guys,

So the past few months, my screen has gotten a dead spot that's gotten bigger and bigger and bigger. I can still get it to respond to touches, and the effect is the same across ROMs. Anyways, I've seen a digitizer replacement for $10 online. My other option is that I pay the extra $6 a month for the insurance plan through big red. The fee to get a new omnia would be $50. Do you guys think it'd be better to replace the screen myself or go ahead and use the insurance. This would be my second omnia in 12 months since last may, so I'd be right at the limit for two months as far as a new phone is concerned.

What do you guys think?

Do you think you're up to the task of replacing the digitizer?
