Guest rossyl Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 (edited) Hi, So I thought I found the perfect MP3 player in Kinoma Freeplay. Then after 4months of using it, 2 months with SRS Wow, one day all my music sounded very weird sort of garbled, or like back in the day when you got a really low quality 36kbp MP3 which had gltches in it. I uninstalled and reinstalled...same problem. It also never would close, even with task manager. So it was always a bit buggy. Anyone got any ideas to fix, or recommend a different programme? Thanks EDIT not sure what is causing this now. The problem is back. Edited March 24, 2010 by rossyl
Guest Charles@Kinoma Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Hello, ...I thought I found the perfect MP3 player in Kinoma Freeplay. Cool, thanks for saying so! Then after 4months of using it, 2 months with SRS Wow, one day all my music sounded very weird sort of garbled, or like back in the day when you got a really low quality 36kbp MP3 which had gltches in it. Whatever's happening, since it worked perfectly for months the problem is probably not Kinoma FreePlay itself. I also checked with our support team, and they've never head of anything like this. What kind of phone do you have? Are you running the latest official firmware? -- Charles Wiltgen
Guest brandogg Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 You need to change the input and output settings in SRS WOW. I've had the same issue, I no longer use SRS WOW (it actually kind of sucks, using soundtester.exe is better, IMO), and in Kinoma Play, I set the Bass and Treble only to +2 each, and I only use it for Shoutcast really. It sounds great though, and no longer has the distortion that you describe.
