Battery issues

Hi, I instaled Modaco Vanilla rom last weekend and I must say something is probably wrong. As you see on the pic. The phone has hardly been sleeping according to the battery stats. Before I had no problem to last more than a day on one charge now I hardly make it through the day. Can anyone explain why this can be? Is there any way for me to find out why my phone won't go to sleep?

Could be an app that is using excessive CPU in the background? Select CPU Usage from the first drop down box and see which apps are using most CPU.

Also from the 2nd drop down box you might want to select Since Last Unplugged rather than Total

I know you are probably right but the phone was currently charging so it didn't make sense but I can assure you that the picture was similar to the one I posted...and I wiped all the stats from the phone over the weekend so it should be pretty accurate

I had a look straight away but there seems to be no evidence of a cpu heavy app, any other ideas?

Partial wake usage might give me of a clue.

If you use Handcent with the notification popup enabled, I've found that drinks battery.

Yes, you are right I have been using handcent. I noticed in the morning so I got rid of it. But now the stock messaging app has some issues. I received some texts 3times. Anyway the battery life hasn't improved that much.

Do you think giving it a wipe and a fresh install might help?
