Htc Evo Rom with sence

I was checkin out the hands-on over at engadget of the newly relieved htc evo, and apart from it being a monster phone, i noticed its software was pretty snappy too. from what was showed is it pretty much the same as the desire rom? im not talking about specifics, but the main ui, cool weather and all that good stuff? or is it completely different
