Guest TheWorld1337 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 Currently i have WM6.1 I want to update to WM6.5, but i get problems with the keyboard. for an example, if i want to press number 1 it recogniseu as i would press number 2. But this problem is just with my first row in the keyboard. Also my screen is quite unresponsive, ... and the calibration is screwed... Can someone help me and post a good WM6.5 rom with a god keyboard???? ,and i mean a keyboard that is big (for fingers) and is similar to WM6.1 keyboard, so that it is aligned right... Also, what can i do for screen calibration, and better responsibility??? Please people help me with this problem, becouse i cant type SMS's or insert new numbers...
Guest Kev23 Posted March 25, 2010 Report Posted March 25, 2010 For the screen calibration - i found this here... i supposed to the 'perfect' alignment. 1. Open your Registry Editor 2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/HARDWARE/DEVICEMAP/TOUCH/ 3. Click on CalibrationData 4. Value Data change to > 519,503 177,881 182,129 847,127 849,872 5. Click OK to save it. For the keyboard, I found 'Samsung Keyboard' quite good: http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-h...-for-i900-i910/

But when typing a text or selecting some small things i felt like i always had to hit the keys a bit below from where i actually thought it was because i always ended up selecting the keys/lines above. Could get frustrating at times, especially when in a hurry.
Guest Alta1r Posted March 26, 2010 Report Posted March 26, 2010 To increase the ssensitivity of the screen: HKLM\Drivers\Touchpanel "PressureThreshold" Increasing the value will require less pressure you need to put on the screen. You can double it every time until you reach the desired sensitivity. Mine is set at about 39000, but you can go way beyond that.
