Guest rpmm70 Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 Is the amount of RAM in the screenshots with or without M2D running?
Guest thekevster Posted March 29, 2010 Report Posted March 29, 2010 without. only thing that has been installed after flashing and is running is shake2save.
Guest chrisp304 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Kev... use to be a hardcore flasher but have stuck with an older rom from Waremike (the one with an outlawed keyboard;) for the last few months. Due to some boredom I flashed yours today and I'm glad I did. I have put it through the ringer and cannot find any issues, so great job! One suggestion, though, would be to add the registry tweak that prevents the "connecting to" message that comes up every time the phone seeks a data connection. I would post it here but cannot remember it or find it (still looking and will post when I find it). Anyhow, keep up the good work. Looking forward to your M2D only rom.
Guest rickhamilton620 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I need to reflash my phone to fix some stupid radio issue. Can't wait to try this out! :P

Looking forward to your M2D only rom. thanks chrisp! i'll see if i can get some help from the veteran chefs to remove the "connecting to" message. its been annoying the hell out of me lately lol. hopefully m2d only ROM will be out tomorrow. been busy the past couple days and i have a test at 8 in the morning so no time for cooking tonight. defenitely going to make some time for cooking tomorrow afternoon though. I need to reflash my phone to fix some stupid radio issue. Can't wait to try this out! :P hope it fixes your radio problem and hope you enjoy it! i havent gotten back any negative feedback with radio problems on my ROMs yet so hopefully this one will work for you.
Guest lordv8r Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 hey Kev is this rom compress at the sacrifice of speed?
Guest NilsE Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) thanks chrisp! i'll see if i can get some help from the veteran chefs to remove the "connecting to" message. its been annoying the hell out of me lately lol The reg entry to turn off ALL the connection notification is: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{8ddf46e7-56ed-4750-9e58-afc6ce486d03}] "Default"="Connection established" "Wave"="infbeg" "Duration"=dword:00000000 "AvailableOptions"=dword:0000000b "Options"=dword:00000000 Copy it into a .reg file and apply it. Once applied you can turn it back on in settings > Sounds and notifications NOTE: I don't cook this in because some people want to know when they are connecting. I just apply it with Sashimi at flash time Edited March 30, 2010 by NilsE
Guest thekevster Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) hey Kev is this rom compress at the sacrifice of speed? somewhat, but not much difference. ROM was compressed using LZX compression. if you want i can make a build using XPR, but i'm not sure when exactly i'll be able to do that. The reg entry to turn off ALL the connection notification is: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{8ddf46e7-56ed-4750-9e58-afc6ce486d03}] "Default"="Connection established" "Wave"="infbeg" "Duration"=dword:00000000 "AvailableOptions"=dword:0000000b "Options"=dword:00000000 Copy it into a .reg file and apply it. Once applied you can turn it back on in settings > Sounds and notifications NOTE: I don't cook this in because some people want to know when they are connecting. I just apply it with Sashimi at flash time thanks Nils! i might just make it into a cab and put it in the first post for anyone who doesnt want the notification to pop up. i figure it will make it easier for those who don't know how to import reg settings. It looks great!, esp. with the W7 theme. :P As far as the radio goes, I could have swore I heard it turn off then back on again but that was early this morning. I'll see if it does it later on today but I think its solved. Quick question though, the W7 theme uses it's own wallpaper. Where would this wallpaper be stored on the phone? I'd love to use it w/in TouchFlo but can't find it for the life of me. Thanks, Ricky :(

When a theme is selected it renames it's background to stwater_240_400.jpg and stwater_400_240.jpg Typically their name when not in use is THEMENAME_stwater_240_400.jpg where THEMENAME obviously is the name of the theme like classicblue but that is not a guarantee. So if you want them find the files I noted while the theme is active and then you can copy them in over any theme. A themes .tsk file does include their background. You can easily edit it with zip or 7zip since they are just archives structured very similar to a cab file. Edited March 30, 2010 by NilsE

GUI is nice and its finger friendly. you can find fingerkeyboard 2.1 here
Guest tractor101 Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 Darn! You made the action screen better (M2D only) :P - now i'm going to have to flash again :( . Or is there a way to replace/move things around?
