Weird thing happen!

Please I'm so confused! Im unable to send SMS text messages! I tried to reboot, reflash rom, Flashed stock rom, reflash SPL, reflash Radio!!! NOTHING WORKS!! please i contacted costumer service ( Sim card noobs, GSM hero you know) and they didnt know anything about this ! Please i cant live without sms!

Check if the sms servicecenter number is still there

I had that problem. It is very odd - but flashing the phone with MCR again (2.2 was the version at the time of my problem) solved it for me.

I've also had this problem a couple of times but it seemed to go away without me reflashing anything. I don't know if it was a problem at Orange's end or what.

tried both GSM and WCDMA (GPRS, EDGE, HSPDRA)

Sim provider is Tele2

NO, its just blank even if i reset factory default.. found the number on internet thou and I entered both Netcom's and Telenor's service center.. it didnt help, but now it looks like its trying to send at least

It's a problem with your network definitely, try calling the customer care if they can help.

I had a similar problem with my GSM Hero. It was service center number problem. Not sure if this would help, buthHere is how I solved it:

1. Created a short cut to Phone Info using AnyCut.

2. Set the preferred network type to 'GSM Only'.

3. Click 'Refresh' and it fetched the correct service center number automatically.

4. Click 'Update'.

5. Thats it. I was able to send sms after that.

Funny thing is that i used a different network providers sim and it worked with any hassle. The problem is network provider specific.

problem solved: Checked provider website and found the sms service center number :P
