Camera (for stills) FC'ing on A19

I apologize beforehand if this is a known issue, but I have searched the forum and not seeing any mention of it.

Since I moved to A19 my camera FC's. A look into the log shows that it is missing a file called SENSOR_FILE_INFO.

I've looked into the zip file, but it is not there - and I can't find a zip of A18 to compare (and people not complaining of the problem leads me to believe the problem is with my setup).

Does anyone have a clue of what 'creates' this file, if anything? From the name I take it is something related to the capabilities of the sensor.

OTOH, video works. Messages on log seem to indicate that parameters are checked differently - QualcommCameraHardware and CameraService in the case of video, and HTCCameraSensor in the case of stills.

Any clues would be most welcome.

They're kernel bits that aren't present. That's probably not causing your FC.

Thanks for the reply (and for the hard work!).

I saw your comment after I posted about some sensor file being dynamically generated and supposed this was it.

I'll see if I can figure out what's fc'ing.
