Guest izar Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 I apologize beforehand if this is a known issue, but I have searched the forum and not seeing any mention of it. Since I moved to A19 my camera FC's. A look into the log shows that it is missing a file called SENSOR_FILE_INFO. I've looked into the zip file, but it is not there - and I can't find a zip of A18 to compare (and people not complaining of the problem leads me to believe the problem is with my setup). Does anyone have a clue of what 'creates' this file, if anything? From the name I take it is something related to the capabilities of the sensor. OTOH, video works. Messages on log seem to indicate that parameters are checked differently - QualcommCameraHardware and CameraService in the case of video, and HTCCameraSensor in the case of stills. Any clues would be most welcome. W/HTCCameraAdvanceSetting( 6780): not reset to default and preference existed W/CameraThread( 6780): Disable touch aec !!! E/HTCCameraSensor( 6780): SENSOR_INFO_FILE does not exist ! W/dalvikvm( 6780): threadid=15: thread exiting with uncaught exception (group=0x4001b3a0)
Guest Paul Posted March 30, 2010 Report Posted March 30, 2010 They're kernel bits that aren't present. That's probably not causing your FC. P

I saw your comment after I posted about some sensor file being dynamically generated and supposed this was it. I'll see if I can figure out what's fc'ing.
