Guest yingwai Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Hi Paul, Is that possible to release a independent version of HTC_CIME? It would be grateful if it is possible. Thanks for your best effort.
Guest MingoChang Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 +1 I've made a request in the topic of mcr rom.
Guest Paul Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 Certainly, i'll try and fit that in today! :P P

Guest maddiez Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 hmm... any news about the independent update.zip?
Guest maddiez Posted April 5, 2010 Report Posted April 5, 2010 hmm.. don't think the patch will ever come
Guest MingoChang Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 hmm.. don't think the patch will ever come Maybe you're wrong. Paul is now at a place with almost no internet connection, so he cannot post the patch. And the patch is really in progress since Paul once posted a reply saying that he needs to integrate the frameworks into the apk of cime. It seems that extracting the patch from the desire rom is no easy a work as we once though it would be.
Guest skypirate Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 welcome back Paul! If you have had time, please give us a help..

Guest codington Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 As requested! http://android.modaco.com/content/software...put-update-zip/ :P P Great work Paul. I live and work in China and I am much happier to be using the CIME keyboard over the google pinyin version. Works nicely on my N1. Only glitch is keeping Simplified Chinese setting after reboot. Fortunately, I rarely have need to reboot, but now must remember to set Simplified Chinese as the input method vs the default Traditional. Any suggestions how to get it to stick through reboots? Cheers
