Replacement SPV seems much faster

I've just got my 2nd SPV from Orange Care and for some reason this unit seems a LOT faster than my old phone.

Even without the speed tweaks the phone's menus and overall operation seem to be a lot speedier.

Anyone else noticed this with a replacement?

I went into an orange store the other day to ask about the forth comming software update, and they were like, "update, what update?" and " if your phone is faulty you need to bring it back" (after i had told them about the bugs)

but they then said that every new batch of phones that they get in has new software on it? im not sure how true this is though!? if it is true then this mite be the answer :?: ;)

But that's prolly because I installed the Danish update. :wink:

TooMuch2am: Those are the same pre-DK update version numbers as everyone else. It may just be because the phone has had no modifications to it, resulting in the apparently speed increase.

To be honest, I hadn't installed anything on the phone previously as I was having some reservations about the crashes etc.

Guess I'll just use it normally and see how I get on...
