I have an excellent condition HTC Hero Graphite, unlocked and rooted, with 8GB MicroSD, Martin Fields screen protector and FlexiShield Skin case, wall charger + cable.

I'm 6 months into an 18 month contract, and have no signal at my new place of work, which is in the middle of nowhere.

The contract is Orange, £25/month for 400 minutes, Unlimited Texts, 500MB Internet + standard Orange perks (magic numbers, 241 film etc) with 12 months left

Ideally I'd like to sign the contract over to someone who gets Orange signal, and wants a 12 month contract with a free HTC Hero. However I am willing to consider any proposition, but bear in mind Orange have asked for over £290 to terminate the contract early.

In addition, within the next month the software is expected to be updated by HTC from Android 1.6 to 2.1.

After 6 months I think you can reduce your tariff. Might be worth seeing how low you can get it.
