Search "more icons" in the app market, you'll get a widget called "more icons widget" that allows you to put four icons in one place.

Dont think thats what I'm after, ive seen discussion about it before based on the Archos having the same res but a smaller UI.

After googling it for about an hour i found out how todo it but unfortunatly nothing seems to work propperly at the higher res/lower dpi

Theres no point changing it as stuff like the phone doesnt work, if you look at the baseband version you'll see it says "unknown"

anyway to change it open /system/build.prop and edit the line that reads:

ro.sf.lcd_density

and then reboot.

Is there anyway to get this to work while not funking up the baseband?
