Guest MingoChang Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Is it possible to change the DPI of the phone to allow more icons/widgets on the home screens Search "more icons" in the app market, you'll get a widget called "more icons widget" that allows you to put four icons in one place.
Guest Jonnyw2k Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Dont think thats what I'm after, ive seen discussion about it before based on the Archos having the same res but a smaller UI.
Guest Jonnyw2k Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 After googling it for about an hour i found out how todo it but unfortunatly nothing seems to work propperly at the higher res/lower dpi here's some images for those intrested:

Guest Jonnyw2k Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Theres no point changing it as stuff like the phone doesnt work, if you look at the baseband version you'll see it says "unknown" anyway to change it open /system/build.prop and edit the line that reads: ro.sf.lcd_density and then reboot.
Guest Fuskand Posted April 6, 2010 Report Posted April 6, 2010 Is there anyway to get this to work while not funking up the baseband?
