Hotmail Synching

Hello everyone,

I have been using the Samsung Omnia i900 on Vodafone and have set it up so I can receive my emails from my gmail account on it. This works fine other than not having the option to have them forwarded to my phone as they come in, I have to set it to periodically check every 5,10, etc mins.

I recently looked into using my Hotmail / Windows live account as I noticed that emails received here are automatically sent to the phone, without having to check every 5 mins. I set this up 2 days ago and it worked fine with no problems. Yesterday it stopped synchronizing the folders and I couldn't receive my hotmail emails on my phone, I get an error message of "Failed to synchronize the folder list. The server didn't respond and then Windows Live is temporarily unable to connect. You may be out of coverage for data connections. Please try again later, or contact your mobile service provider for assistance.. This is all after about 2 minutes. Everything else that connects to the internet on my phone works fine. This may have been a coincidence but I had checked my hotmail account on my pc.

I removed the hotmail account and tried again and now it still won't synchronize or receive any emails. I have googled this and not found much in the way of help. I have also tried doing a factory reset on my phone.

Can anyone shed any light on this, thanks in advance.

I stay away from the 235xx ROMs because of the threaded email and the use of MSHTML only.

I install WindowsLive_0409.PPC2005_arm.cab.

Soft reset, tap on IE just to start a data session, tap Messaging and choose Other.

Follow the prompts accepting everything, (even the search and today stuf).

I am running 21898 and have Send and Recieve set to manual.

Let me know if you can't find the .cab.
