Hey guys, rather than creating a new thread I thought should post here,

I just got a HTC Hero, it is T-Mobile UK branded and is running Build number : 1.76.110.6, which is said to be needed to one click root the phone,

I don't want to mess anything up so does this method still work?

So I can just follow the steps on the unlockr, then install ANY ROM even 2.1 roms right?

**Also, can I use Amon Ra's HERO latest recovery instead?**

Procedure is still the same, the Hero is still an almost year-old device and hasn't really changed. You can flash whatever you like once it's rooted, the latest Amon Ra is preferable to the old version the tutorials mostly reference, same functions are still there.

And I like that despite saying "rather than creating a new thread..." you did just that less than an hour after posting this ;)
