Guest Dona' Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 This one : http://www.mediafire.com/?eityv5dynnn
Guest Charlton22 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 This one : http://www.mediafire.com/?eityv5dynnn bin downloaded, but don't know how to install from bin... I've just rooted thanks
Guest audiobastard Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 use the liquid DL tool. (A1DLTool ....). I'm sure its linked to in the wiki or rooting tutorial section. Make sure to enable debugging in applications --> developer in the settings menu
Guest Dona' Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Ok first of all you must have installed your usb drivers. Then, download the acer download tool : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EF2QNANO When download is finished give administrator rights to this file : "ACER Download Tool [single].exe" + xp sp2 compatibility. Connect your liquid trough usb and then launch this exe file. In original image, choose the bin file you've just downloaded, then you should be able to click on start and the tool should start to flash the rom on your phone. Goodluck and I hope you've understand my explanation.

Guest Ale94 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 New Bin 0.008.06 + Custom ROM B70P 1.1 is the best combination.
Guest chingy1788 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 I've just flashed to the new bin so far, looks good, big improvement over the first leak
Guest bais Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Stock bin is the best now, the B70P 1.1 looks great but have just one problem, but a big one: HelixLauncher2, it's laggy even without LW.
Guest bais Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 batista70phone ROM based on the current 0.008 leak, you may try it: http://213.82.38.215/privata/liquid/b70p-1.1.zip Really want a version without HelixLauncher2 and with Stock Launcher2...
Guest Dona' Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Does it run faster than the bin without it (if you want it I could upload a titanium backup of the old launcher, then you could put the files into the right directory on SDcard)
Guest bais Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Yeah that would be nice! When I try to backup it I have a file of 2KB, I don't think the launcher size is only 2KB xD.
Guest Dona' Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Had the same problem :P Looks like the data (where the shortcuts are, etc) is backed up but not the apk ...
Guest vache Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Launcher2.apk from new bin zipaligned and optipnged. http://shoobee.eu/upp/download.php?file=341Launcher2.zip
Guest bais Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) Nice, gonna try it. How can I install it? Edited April 4, 2010 by bais
Guest vache Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) You have to push it. Extract the apk in c:\ Open a shell : adb remount adb push c:\Lancher2.apk /system/app Edited April 4, 2010 by vache
Guest ahsid Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 So how is it with the original launcher set back ?
Guest bais Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 (edited) adb shell said no found. I did adb remount, then adb push Launcher2.apk /system/app. I said okay but nothing changed I still have the Helix Launcher... EDIT: Geez finally made it. Gotta rename Launcher2.apk into Launcher2_0.6.apk. Then adb push it and it worked, gonna test now. EDIT2: Compared to Helix Launcher2 it sure feels good. Killed apps, have 66MB of free RAM compared to 50 with Helix... I think it's a little faster than stock, but have to test a little more. Edited April 4, 2010 by bais
Guest vache Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 It's strange cause HelixLancher is "only" 480Kb compare to 5MB from stock Lancher2. Helix should be faster.
Guest ahsid Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 It's strange cause HelixLancher is "only" 480Kb compare to 5MB from stock Lancher2. Helix should be faster. Are you talking about Helix Launcher 2 or 1 ?
Guest vache Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 Version 2, 0.6, the one in the Batista update.
Guest ahsid Posted April 4, 2010 Report Posted April 4, 2010 My question has nothing to do with what your talking about, but do we really have a root access to this rom (bin only + Malez recovery) ? I tried to remove some apps in system/apps using "su" then "rm -R whatever.apk" and it tells me the file is in read-only. Did I do something wrong ?
