Filtering the Market?

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting bored/annoyed with the "spam" in the Market.

I don't necessarily want to single particular developers out, but you see DOZENS of apps-the-same-as-another-but-with-a-new-background-image

VirtualTechs - the "isms" apps

FantasticPlanet / Zeitmann - the clock skins

O'Reilly Media - their whole library

Is there any way to filter what my device and/or Androlib show me, so that I can exclude particular devs or keywords?

I agree. Isn't it about time Google introduced some kind of moderation to the market? I don't mean Apple style app moderation but some kind of checks. Surely it wouldn't be to hard for them to log all comments that contain a url and if enough comments contain that url require all posts containing it to be moderated.

Then we come to the other problem. Apps that have lots of blatantly fake comments to boost it's ratings. One company that comes to mind that does this is funfoneapps and you can see their two dubious apps at http://www.appbrain.com/browse/dev/FunFoneApps

Another very very dubious app is Brain Shield which claims to, "identify the non-ionizing radiation producing frequencies emitted by your phone, and automatically lower them to safe levels, without any loss of clarity, for a safe cell phone experience"
