HTC Hero (Euro version) for sale, good for parts - $70USD or obo

I don't know where I am suppose to post this, if this need to be move then mod please so do.

Anyway, I got a hero that has the screen working, but stuck at the Hero screen. Didn't do anything to it. The phone's water indicator turn pink because it was drop in a cup of water but scoop up real quick quite a while ago so it should not be the cause of the phone stuck at the Hero screen. At least I know the LCD is working, the buttons are working and the battery is working. Screen is in great condition. Anyone interested please shoot me a PM. Will ship around the world but you will pay for the shipping cost. This phone is sold AS IS and will only come with the phone ONLY. Thanks.

If you think $70 USD is too expensive, then offer me a price. I need money quick and hope for a fast sale.

Man, I believe that you can save your Hero. At least your device is working!!!

Do it yourself or take it to a service.

Wash its motherboard with pure alcohol and dry it (I recommend a hairdryer)

I've heard many people praise rice's effectiveness. Ziploc + uncooked rice + near heater works for most. However, I've never had to do it.

You are right, rice is good idea if the liquid is normal water ( not coffee, tea)

Hey, I am really appreciate you guys' advice, but I sold this phone already.. I needed some quick cash and I don't have time to mess with this for now. I really appreciate you all trying to help :P This is why I like this forum. I will try rice next time if it happen (Hope not...)

I actually tried to flash an RUU, but keep giving me error 132 and I will be very busy next few weeks and need some money plus a lot have happened lately and in no mood to mess with this anymore so I decided to sell this since I got my Liquid. The person who got it said he can fix it and if so he deserved to earn it.

Again, this phone is sold and thank you everyone for trying to help.
