Push new browser and google maps to MoDaCo ROM?

This may be an off chance set of questions, but is there a way to get newer versions of Google Maps on Android 1.5 in order for our heros to have GPS navigation? And is there a way to get a multitouch browser and an updated youtube application too? And also, is there a power control equivalent for 1.5, without using sense? I'm planning on replacing the launcher with HelixLauncher, and wish to have a power control widget.

These questions are directed to the MoDaCo rom, and I'm curious because I'm fed up with having some great potential android 2.1 features but with incomplete-featured roms or roms with non-functional basics (youtube, call logs, streaming radio).

I'm going to fall back to Android 1.5/MoDaCo rom if I can get at least navigation working on my phone. The post may seem like a bad rant, but it's just so discouraging when the Hero has so much potential, and a lack of true manufacturer support for whatever terrible reason they have prevents this phone from actually being worth the cash I invested in to get a usa variant of the phone. Hopefully you can help me with this endeavor.

GPS locks on very fast on MCR, but there's no navigation feature to really make it useful. Youtube will launch, but it complains when I move it to HQ mode and it claims it cannot be played over and over. Multitouch browser isn't particularly high on the list, but it would be nice to just have after being spoiled by it. And power control just seems to be far handier than before.

And one more thing...how can I get market enabler functioning properly too? I always tried installing it, but the apps never appear. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Navigation is 2.x only as far as I know.

There's a power control bar for 1.5. Search for it on here, there's a thread.
