Finger mouse cursor always visible?

I swear it wasn't on my last Omnia, but the finger mouse is always on on this phone, even when it hasn't been used for a period of time. I don't see any option to have it fade other than turning it off completely. Is this normal?

Yeah thats totally normal. Theres an option to turn it off under the settings menu. I can't tell you exactly where cuz my phone is broken and I'm waiting on a replacement. I think its under mouse though. Or you can try a program called chgfingermouse which can mapped to a physical button and you can turn it on and off whenever you want

if you want to hide but not turn off your mouse, you have to make a new registry key (under HKLM\system\state\samsung\mouse) called 'Hide' with decimal value of '1' . But not works properly on WM 6.5.X
