Guest barbarony62 Posted April 11, 2010 Report Posted April 11, 2010 (edited) Hi, I installed Ndrive, a nice GPS application with maps from all over the world. Easy to install and navigate. Works well on Omnia i900, with RADAR, POI, 3d, 3D POI's, Multiple languages (interface, and instructions) (seems to work for symbian phones too -- but who cares about my wife's crappy n97 ;) ) Google is your friend.... Guest jason07 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Pricey... Certainly not asking for pirated copies, but any chance they might exist? Or did you pay full price?

Guest barbarony62 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) Hello, comparison to IGO: 1. Igo is better, more accurate, and more aware of where you are (in corners, roundabouts etc...). 2. Igo has better skinning capabilities -- you can make it look like anything else... (themes, cars) 3. Igo has better 3d buildings and poi 1. Ndrive loads much faster 2. Ndrive finds GPS sats faster 3. Ndrive has very good "address guessing" i.e. you enter part of an address and it guesses better what you mean 4. Ndrive brings to top of list recent city, POI, or anything else you found before, making it easier to locate. I use both, depending on where I go, and what I need to find... regards Barbarony62 Edited April 13, 2010 by barbarony62
Guest zagzag99 Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I can seem to get a GPS fix with NDrive. What GPS settings do you use ? What coordinates ? I have iGO8 getting a fix with-in a few seconds.

I have iGO8 getting a fix with-in a few seconds. Igo has a problem.. it does not release the GPS once you activated it (even if you close IGO) -- soft reset your omnia (or turn off and on), and start Ndrive -- it works great -- however, once you start IGO, no other GPS application gets access to GPS after that..... regards BarBarony62
