Hi, all

I have been using bluetooth audio fixed ROMs(Khuanchai's and P_Dhee's) to enable voice dialing via BT headset for a while.

But there are few choice!( Only these 2 chiefs). I try to make my own bt-fixed ROM but unsuccessed.

Finally, I found an alternative solution at XDA.

Bluetooth Audio Gateway Control

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=459014

Applying on my omnia with no-bt-fixed ROM seems good.

Files attached

Sorry guys, it seems unstable.

need more test!

Update on 2 post!

JetWare Bluetooth Extention CAN do the job!

http://www.jetwaremobile.com/

I use it on my own cooked ROM(zuif2).

1, Install the program.

2, Open it, Menu\Advance Options\, only tick Voice Dialing (use OEM dialer).

3, Use your voice speed dial program by press your bluetooth headset.

Thanks zaryc for finding an open source JetWare V1.40

No other changes to the device.

I have used it for a week in my own rom.

It's not a freeware, so I cannot attach the cab file here. ;)

Actually that doesn't help. JetFree was the first thing I tried long before the fixed ROMs were developed.

I don't remember now how exactly that didn't work, but I remember I wasn't satisfied. Most probably it

failed to start Voice Commander by pressing the BT headset button.

Really helpful topic. Nice work.

I was searching for a solution and this kind of worked for me...

Saying "kind of" because I'm facing the following issue:

Currently on ock's 23118 Lite ROM, using Cyberon Voice Speed Dial v. 1.2 (build 061226) with i-Tech Bluetooth clip V - II mini Headset

Pressing headset button once, wakes up the headset and activates VSD on phone but after that it is impossible to transfer voice through headset microphone (when calling a contact name for example or an application voice command). The result is that after a few seconds VSD displays a message saying "Unable to process your voice command ... bla, bla"

Also noticed (when VSD is activated as above), application doesn't "beep" at the begining as usual prior to waiting for voice command.

Now the amazing part! (aka Some Magic ! ! !)

If headset button is pressed again (for a second time... not double click at once) after VSD is activated on the phone with the first click of the headset button and just before the aforementioned message displays, you actually deactivate the bluetooth headset and

...

Surprise!!!

VSD initializes again, you hear the "beep" on the first screen displaying "Please speak after beep" and you are now able to send voice commands to the application through phone microphone instead of headset mic.

Anyway, worked for me that way, better than nothing ....

If only someone could help me resolve the "no voice from bluetooth headset microphone to VSD" issue, I'd be gratefull!

Any ideas please?
