I had the CPU underclocked when the screen was off. Only problem was that it then took far too long to wake the screen and the phone was sluggish for a few seconds.

I seem to have similar results to le_lutin. My battery doesn't seem to last any longer though (more testing needed perhaps?). The Pulse takes long enough to wake up normally! I underclocked the CPU for during sleep, and I thought it would never wake up ;) What SetCPU settings are best for a balance between performance/battery??? Getting back to Flyscreen. I gave it a quick run and discovered you need to login to use the app. It's actually quite usable, but I prefer having my homescreen cluttered with widgets ;) I like the fact your widgets are all there at-a-glance. The scrolling is very smooth and the updates are quick. One thing, getting to my 'normal' homescreen was unintuitive (for me) as I'm now used to the press 'menu' > draw pattern > home, routine! Preliminary Verdict - I really like this app. If you live on twitter/facebook and need constant widget and RSS updates, this app is really cool. If you're not bothered about those things, it's not really worth it.
