its a difrence betwene moaning about the fail of the 2.1 for hero, and apealing Paul to make a modaco test ROM from one of th eported ROMs, if you dont like the 2.1 post simply ignore them, but to actualy take the trouble going in and read them and then taking your time to try to come up with somthing funny and then post it...

for the rest... I do read the forums here daily if not hourly and been doing so for the past 6 month, all I wanted was to get somthing fun to play with since I am quite bored with the other ROMs right now, and as far as I know Paul is the one making the best ROMs out there... would make it interesting

I am sure you do bro, its just that there have been so many threads regarding this subject matter.

2.1 is not all that imho, Pauls MCR is far faster and far more stable. 2.1 has its added extras, but really its not the most amazing thing ever. Its always good to have the latest OS, but i am kinda left thinking of my WinMo days when WM6.5 came about ( long time ago!) and still is about with new OS builds every few days....Android ain't like that (well it is really) but getting those official updates seems to be a pain, it will always be the last thing they do (manufacturers) due to releases of new devices.

You will always be better off with custom ROMs, which is why a lot of people want Paul to cook custom 2.1 with the current available sources. Thing is, he won't and he said it himself. I dont blame him either, when the official 2.1 is released, then he will play and cook us up something really good. The big question is, how will it compare to 1.5 and Pauls current builds.

We dont have long to wait, i kinda left my Hero alone for a bit, still running 2.1 too.

I barely use this forum atm and can't belive how many 2.1 posts there are. A mod/admin just needs to delete them and add a sticky telling people not to ask.

Naruc - If you read (that's past tense, as in, if you had read the forum already. Not if you go read through it now you'll find blaa blaa blaa) the forum, like you said you do/had, you'll have already found that Paul has already outright stated that he will not be doing a MCR based on 2.1 until the Official ROM is released. Anyway, he's got lots on his plate so wait until he's ready and when he is, he'll do it, until then, WAIT!

Neither Paul nor anyone else here can perform miracles. One of the reasons Paul's ROMs are in many ways the best is because he uses quality ingredients. I'm sure one of his reasons for not releasing a 2.1 ROM before the official release is that he knows it would be broken, as are all the existing 2.1 Hero ROMs to some extent. We need an updated kernel & in practical terms that means waiting for HTC's work to be released first.

Yes I have read it several times, withc means that my post will not go anywhere, but since a forum is a place where wishes ideas etc, is to be posted, I do that, same reason why I changed the post topic and description so I would not draw all the 2.1 hungry ppl here thinking its somthing new about anything.

I know what Paul has stated, and I respect it, but it still gives me a opertunity to try to change his mind right? without getting bitchslapped for it...

if ppl had bothered answering the topic as the person abow me did, its okay, but some viceass comment that sounds like its comming from a puberty boy on the age of 16 I would go to a MMORPG forum to get that, not a forum that sounds and looks like it is for the grown up half of the globe...
