hardware keyboard can not key in $ symbol

my 7610 keyboard, press $ key can only get € (Euro Dollar Symbol)

the rest of the keys are all correct.

Anyone know what's the problem?

my phone is Singapore Version:

PDA B7610NXXIL2

CSC B7610NXSOIK5

PHONE B7610XXIL1

the rom is megalite

O encounter this problem also. when I enable PlumSIP or BaiduSIP

I will not able key $ but was the euro money logo.

1. However when i switch to samsung keyboard. the hadware keyboard able to key in $

2. alternatively, u can long press that button until $ showed up.This also working when I am using any others input.

my problem is just opposite yours.

when i enable PlumSIP or BaiduSIP, I will not able to key $ but [space]

when i switch to samsung keypad, the hardware keyboard works well by key in $

when I switch to windows mobile original keyboard, it keys euro dollar symbol.

It seems this is MS problem. Samsung was aware, so they modified their own SIP.
