How to enable ä ö ü?

Hello World,

I'm using Daskalos MegaLite Build 23547 on my B7610. Everything works fine!

But I would like to use TouchPal as standard Keyboard.

But if I'm disabling Samsung Keypad to use TouchPal, I'm not able to write ä ö ü (in german language) on my Hardware Keyboard. Why?

I didn't found a solution at google. Had anyone solve this problem yet? Do I need a new CSC?

Hey freezy,

looks like in on this site: http://www.pocketpc.ch/samsung-omnia-pro/6...-umlaute-2.html they found a registry hack for it.

did't try it myself, but looks like it works.

site is in german btw.

For all others having this problem, I will give the solution in english so you don't have to learn german ;) :

Registry edit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Layouts\e0010409

Change "Ime File" from \windows\XT9ime.dll => \windows\compime.dll

Change "Layout Text" from Samsung Keypad => COMP IME

Now your can write an a THEN press àü and set your accent to the a ;) (pressing àü more often, you can flip to your possible accents)
