Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 what rom are you using ? Severals, from Khunchai. Right now, that 6.1 (21001) with BT fix, from i8000!
Guest g3n3ral Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 well 1st day of poll ock takes the lead....
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 well 1st day of poll ock takes the lead.... Off course... he's new; Khunchai is a "vet", retired from i900 months ago.
Guest vince1970 Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 From Khunchai to PDhee to OCK. OCK is the best so far with his current 23557 M2D. PDhee disappear lately and Khunchai moved on.
Guest blade87 Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 How could you make a mistake in his name? It's Khuanchai, not Khunchai.
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 How could you make a mistake in his name? It's Khuanchai, not Khunchai. Well, I assume you DON'T making texting mistakes, right? Are you using text auto correction in internet too, mate? I'm writting pretty much fast, so I do mistakes. Sorry if bothers you, friend. To me, by rank order ("oldies" & "newbies"): .QBus .Khuanchai .Sector .Shokka9 .t2008 .Krazy Radd .Ryrzy .Sinan .OCK .Nicklas (From all chefs I tested).

But I really think it would be better to copy and paste a name, not to write it so that there are no mistakes. Whenever I reply to someone I always copy and paste his/her name, because the nickname may be gibberish to me, but the owner knows what it means. (Khuanchai is one of the masters that will never be forgotten here ;) )

I'm writting 3-4 words per second, friend! I'm pretty much fast. And of spam talk, I hope. (I'm HUGE fanatic supporter of the asian chef!) Edited April 17, 2010 by andrew.mazlim

But if we look at your first two posts, we see that you made the mistake also. No matter. I agree. Let's end this. I hope the author corrects his poll with the right name. Guest kimitza Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 +1 Ock. But remember older chefs, the true pioneers have moved on. So, i think it's better to have this poll with active chefs, who are making new roms. You can't compare a rom made 1 year ago, with a rom made yesterday. All the respect for the new chefs, like ock, but they had an advantage. They had the tools, the know-how and the support of the veterans, while old chefs, like qbus, shokka, sector etc had to build from scratch. Now, it's quite easy to cook a rom. I'm sure i can learn how to do this in 1 week and i'm no computer wizzard. CONCLUSION? Let's give the veterans the credits they deserve and say a big THANK YOU to all the chefs around that make our omnia reborn every time we flash their roms. I think this poll should be renamed to "What rom are you using and why". But not to make a top or something. It's not a contest. Every single chef around here it's doing this for fun, in their own free time and because they really want to bring the best out of a device like omnia(and not only). So let me be the first to say THANK YOU to all the past, present and future chefs. ;)
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 (edited) I'm testing alot of roms lately, 6.5s; many have cons & pros, but I didn't find yet what I'm looking for. I want a Norma/Lite or UltraLite, as much as STABLE-FAST, with great responsiveness, fast core etc. I want everything working like a charm; I don't care about programs installed or design. Any idea, any opinion of you, fellas? Regards, Andy. Re-posted from the older thread. Edited April 24, 2010 by andrew.mazlim
