If you don't have a U8220-6 don't flash this ROM (at least not immediately).

It could overwrite your radio firmware and you won't be able to log into your provider network anymore!

Just downloading it right now too.

Running strings on the UPDATA.APP gives :-

ro.build.version.release=1.5

ro.com.google.gms_preload_version=1.5_r3

So I am guessing it is version 1.5 again :-(

Does somebody know if those are the strings to look for?

Don't flash the updata.app if you don't have a U8220-6!

This could reflash your baseband/radio firmware with another version!

where did u check after removing the battery whether its U8220-6...

I removed the battery and on the top of the sticker it just says U8220, is that the one or do I have to look somewhere else because just down below on the sticker i can see 06 written seperately.

Hi!

At the top it says: HUAWEI U8220-6

and at the botton I have: FCC ID: QISU8220-6

But the sticker in my phone was customized here in brazil I think. It has the National Telecom Agency aka ANATEL logo.

Maybe you should be sure of your version before flashing this. Good luck!
