Guest qwertyux Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 I've got an HTC HD2 Virgin branded from Ebay, It said that it is unlocked. Tried it on T-mobile, O2 and Vodafone. Only worked on T-Mobile. When I put O2 or Vodafone sim card, it can't even connect to the network. Is my device locked??? Or is it faulty? Please help Even on T-Mobile, it's connected to 3G and HSDPA perfectly, internet browsing is no problem. But Calling and SMS is still not possible.
Guest andybarker Posted April 16, 2010 Report Posted April 16, 2010 Most likely it is locked to the T-Mobile network, on which Virgin sit their service. If you have a Virgin phone, it will use the T-Mobile network.

I have a Virgin HD2 direct from virgin and it works with Vodaphone and Orange UK networks. does the phone configure the new network when you put it in in first time? if not this may be the problem. I found I can get ROM updates from HTC using my serial but other networks tend to be only able to get there's from network. try your serial on htc.com and if it is not valid it sounds like it's not a virgin phone.
