Annoying Download Complete notifications - how to remove?

Not sure if this has been asked but it is quite annoying.

I keep choosing "Clear Notifications" but after a couple of hours my phone tells me again that my downloads have completed.... How can I remove the notification for good?

Advanced task killer should solve this. If not try opening the download again and rebooting

I used task killer but it kept coming back. Have since deleted the files I downloaded and not got those messages again. Having issues with not able to download anything off the market now, but have just wiped the cache and will try out again tonight...
