Can't log to google account after rooting my Nexus

hi,

I just bought 2 Nexus 1 (for my brother and for myself).

I was able to connect to my google account earlier today with my device.

after that i strated to root it. during the rooting process i skipped the google dance and account setup.

when i finished successfully i tryed to log in to the market and got the error message "Can't establish reliable connection with data server".

i tryes to reset the device several times (bootloader -> clear) and it didnt work.

i then tryed to log with my other device wich was not rooted, and got the same error.

does anyone have any ideas for this problem's cuase besides the Voodoo of resetting the device over and over and over again?

Try accessing over another wifi connection, or try via the mobile network. Does the problem show up there too?
