Guest ritchboix Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) i've seen alot of threads that are pretty general in the flashing of the omnia i900v with fixes for different problems. forgive me if i'm wrong but i've tried looking everywhere. i apologise if this is already addressed in which case mods please put this is the appropriate thread. installed active synch modem drivers used the shg-1900 v1.6 user downloader xp 1900dxhh3 result - everything went well got the job done message at which point i left my phone for a few minutes tried turning it on and found it was now bricked with just the power( red button on the handset turning on) i have looked on other threads and if i had found what i was needing i wouldnt be making this post. red light only now also xp shows there is a mobile device is there anything i can do from here? also anyone in the uk know how much it costs to fix this out of warranty? A friend of mine with similar issue, spended about 40 pounds. That's not too bad (if you're grown up man, working and such)... but for a teen user, it's a serious matter. But why don't you pay a visit to your local Samsung service?

Guest ritchboix Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 lols turns out despite the guy on ebay saying it had no warranty it was still in warranty took it to carphone warhouse 2 weeks later brand new i900 cant beat that luck now my gf wants me to brick hers so she gets a new one
