Guest Skel1t Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I would give a shot to "MyPhone", a very nice (free) and easy to use software from microsoft who stores your backup online in your hotmail account. http://sn1-p1.myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/Start.po?mkt=en-US - Read about it.
Guest FelipeRRM Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks guys! And one more thing: What's the difference between M2D, Titanum, Pro and those other ROMs ?
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Thanks guys! And one more thing: What's the difference between M2D, Titanum, Pro and those other ROMs ? "UltraLite" roms (or "Clean"): Totaly "naked" roms, with only the very important apps. "Lite" roms: Similar "light" roms like the "naked" ones, but with more apps. "Titanium": Roms focusing on the 6.5 UI (user interface), Titanium, fully operationall and customized. Quite many apps pre-installed. "NeoTitanium": Like above, but with the NEW VISUAL Titanium (I think better looking). Quite many apps pre-installed. "M2D": Roms with the CLASSIC (usually, v.1.8-1.9) Manila2D TouchFLO user interface, fully operational and customized. Quite many apps pre-installed. "M2Dv2": Roms with the NEW Manila2D TouchFLO (v.2.x), with lots of apps, customizing utilities, etc. "FloTitanium": A combination of the two UIs, Titanium (usually, Neo) and M2D (usually, v.2.x). Quite many apps pre-installed. "Full" (or "Premium"): A kind of... "FULL THROTTLE" roms, with Titanium, M2D (99%, v.2.x), MANY-MANY applications pre-installed, almost nothing else to install into. So, there are MANY choices to make. I personally like the "totally naked" roms, because I like to "playing" with my phone and personally installing apps... and because I'm using DIFFERENT applications than the "cookers" are "cooking" in their "Premium/Full" roms. Hope I helped.

Can I install them without updating my ROM?
Guest andrew.mazlim Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 Helped alot. Thanks. But I still don't understand one thing, what is M2D or Titanium? A software? It modifies the interface, but is it a theme? Can I install them without updating my ROM? It's a USER INTERFACE, a software, something that changes your rom's look very much or completely! There are THEMES for every USER INTERFACE, like M2D or Titanium (a "build-in" User Interface in - ONLY! - 6.5s)... You don't have to CHANGE a rom to install a User Interface (I'm personally using totaly "naked" - UltraLite - roms, without any User Interface), but you can also choose a rom WITH USER INTERFACE "build-in"! That's why several roms "indicates" they have M2D... Hope I helped enough.

I'm using the default WM 6.1, because I want to upgrade it, but first I wanna test all interfaces, as I find the upgrading process dangerous (already lost one phone).
