Guest z0s0 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 It installs, and the program runs, but it can never find my device when plugged in. Has anyone got it working on Vista or Win7 64 bit? I can tether via linux on this laptop, so no hardware/usb issues. I'm using the version from the original DVD. Maybe there's a new version?

I believe the drivers are with that. Good luck

Guest z0s0 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 Crazy as this sounds, my solution was to edit the USB hardware IDs of the .inf driver files from a Huawei e160e device I have, and install them for the Pulse from the device manager (right click, install, choose file). So I now effectively have a generic usb serial port emulator so I can dialup via the pulse through Windows' standard networking tools. Nice not to have to use all that crappy Huawei software (other than the driver at least).
