Guest futureboycolin Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 I dropped my Omnia in the toilet two days ago(don't text and piss fellas!), and it's dead as a doornail now. I dried it out in a bag of rice, and it worked for about 2 hours, during which time I managed to backup all my contacts with PIMbackup, and save the .pib file to my PC. I was wondering if there's any way I can convert that file to some sort of usable filetype before I get a new phone so that in the interim I can have all my phone numbers at least? Thanks!!
Guest futureboycolin Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 Ugh...nobody knows?? I can't find anything about it searching google. Luckily my phone resurrected itself after about 2 days in a bag of rice again. The hard buttons don't work tho. Surprisingly the touchscreen works really well still.
Guest N_M_S Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 a better way is to download and install the emulator from MS website run the emulator sync it with Active Sync copy the .pib file and the PIMBackup app to the emulator extract the data to the emulator finally, sync all stuff with Active Sync and Outlook.
