I'm a bit behind the curve on the navigation for android. That is good news - It's for Android 1.6 and higher though according to this http://www.google.com/mobile/navigation/ Although the article doesn't mention UK availability, so it's out of date, it seems unlikely that they will backport the functionality to 1.5 (even if it could support it) given the "pending" updates from so many manufacturers. I guess it's another reason to look forward to the 2.x Huawei update(s)... Edited April 21, 2010 by Stevos
Guest gregDT Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 It's working for me like dream on my Desire. Obviously it's not quite as polished as on my Tom Tom XL but it's free, so who's complaining. All I need now is a car holder and an extra long power cord ;)
Guest thealexweb Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 It needs Android 1.6 or higher so it won't work on the Pulse.
Guest Azurren Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Bit off topic but does google navigation need constant 3g coverage? Like for loading maps and re routing? 3g and general coverage is low and constantly dropping while driving.
