Guest Droid800 Posted April 21, 2010 Report Posted April 21, 2010 Since no one seems to be posting in the stock ROM thread, I thought starting a new thread might actually get some attention. Basically, I want to go back to the stock recovery and ROM image so that I'm able to receive OTA updates in the future. The tethered update process is just too much of a hassle, so I don't want to deal with it. I used Superboot to root the phone, and I can't find any useful directions to restore the original recovery. All of the firmware files in this thread are missing the stock recovery, userdata, and system images, which make them worthless for the process. There are also no instructions for doing this if you've used superboot, and I haven't been able to get fasboot working on my mac. (it always comes back with an error like 'no such command') If anyone out there could help, I'd appreciate it.
