Guest Scsiborg Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 here's a complete review for this leak: NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE still same bugs and same issues. for people looking for Navigation fix.. (bad news) it's still useless for those who are looking for nexus one live wallpaper.. same issue white screen if you are looking for speed ..really has no difference than the previous one. currently went back to 1.6 and I'm tired of a useless navigation and an over heating phone , you know, before i burn it at least keep it safe. The navigation is fine

If your planning on getting rich by leaking roms, im sorry to inform you that its not going to happen, you cant expect people to donate just because you leaked something, people donate because they want to, donations are a bit more than a "thank you", again don't released things expecting to get rich it wont happen, find a job if you don't have one or just study hard and finish your collage if your in one. My two cents rafyvitto Edited April 25, 2010 by rafyvitto
Guest Ultimate Chicken Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Yeah, most of us don't really have money to pay. After all, much of our cash has gone into these expensive things. I appreciate the leaking, tho. Really. I'm still getting MD5 errors off the download in the first link.

Guest Edward.W Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 Yes, you need the tool and the Liquid USB drivers. That means I only need to connect the Liquid to the computer, and boot in normal mode? and then start the Download Tool? Thanks for your answering. :P

Thanks for your answering. :P First install the USB drivers after that connect Liquid, wait for the driver install. (Yes, normal mode, no recovery or something) Start the tool, it writes that connected the phone (green backround), open bin, check MD5 Pass, click start, wait, don't touch anything. The flashing process erase all your datas except SD card. If you use Win7 or Vista run the tool as administrator. It is important! Edited April 25, 2010 by csics5

And one more thing: For me it often hangs at "AMSS Start" and the tool says disconnected. In that case (only) unplug and reconnect the phone and it continues. (my heart almost stopped the first time it happened  )

Guest Ultimate Chicken Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 (edited) Hi, thanks for the links and mirrors, but this is like the 8th time I've downloaded the same file, and Liquid A1 tool from the LCR instructions is still telling me that the file's MD5 check fails. Every single source does NOT have a file with reliable integrity: Megaupload, Rapidshare, 4shared. None of them are clean! Size of result file each time is ~137-140 according to Windows Explorer, and as far as I can gather the thing was not interrupted in any way during each attempt. Seriously, how do you guys get it to pass the MD5 check, or are you all simply flashing with complete disregard for the check, and you got lucky? PS: Yes I have redownloaded the tool and reinstalled the drivers thrice. Edited April 25, 2010 by Ultimate Chicken

Guest Ultimate Chicken Posted April 25, 2010 Report Posted April 25, 2010 ...great, I could have a bung external drive on my hands. I swapped out my C: (USB HDD) for a USB stick and it finally gave me the correct MD5. Thanks.
