Yes, it's real fast!

There are still some laggy time but the overall performance is acceptable(from my point of view).

Quite Good Peformancc as well as relatively stable (I think?)

I had some freezing that forced me to retire the battery in the beginning.

Strangely it does not happen anymore...

But it's certainly still a beta version ;-)

As a side note, tethering doesn't work with those wifi tether apps available in market. E.g. barnacle tether (bomb diggity app) and wireless tether. Those don't work. I think some files are missing or moved in new bin from .008 bin. But, I think tetherbot still works. I dunno, I'm not going through that pain in the ass app to find out.

Though LCR 1.4 is great for .10 bin and I did finally manage to see "some" life from my gps, gonna go back to .008 for now.

EDIT: nevermind, they don't work on any 2.1 bins. Guess only 1.6, welp, back to LCR 1.4

i'm testing the rom one day and i'm could compare with liquid 1.6 and the nexus one

- the speed is acceptable, but it's some slow compared to nexus, but is still beta :P. its relative slow compared with 1.6 stock liquid

- the GPS and compass works very well. with navigon works perfect

- the synchronization works well, but only in config menu. with the shortcut "acer sync" doesn't work

- the camera photo app always remember the last photo, even it's deleted

i'm have some issues to install the LCR community rom, but this rom install quickly and don't take me problems. it's usable to daily use

Ever since I installed the white them on top of LCR 1.4, seems to run better. I dunno, maybe placebo effect. I'm going for a drive now, I need you folks to pray that my gps will work today.

I still have a 0.008 based rom...

Only yesterday I noticed that GPS works in a very strange way.

With Sygic it works very well (and is for that reason that only yesterday I noticed the problem, trying a different program).

With iGO, and with Google Maps, driving, the map runs upside down...

....Better explaining: the car or arrow icon moves backward, so your heading is in the bottom instead of the top of the map, and the point to point navigation is totally impossibile.

The static use of GPS (latitude etc) is still OK, obviously.

Are those problems that you've found on old leak?

Are you sure they are solved on the new leak?

Otherwise I have no big problems with the old one...

Thank you.

Ciao, Piero.

no my friend they are not solved in the new leak.

this navigation problem appears on all 2.1 leaks.

I think that's one of the reason it's holding 2.1 back from most phones to get the update sooner

Not for me it doesn't, not with the LCR ROM at least. See my post in their thread. GPS-lock = compass stops working = navigation screwed.

But it seems that navigation is possible also without compass: Sygic works well...

Other kinds of navigation hardware works well without compass...

There's a way, maybe, to disable compas at all?

I (and also we all, I think) hope on a new bugfree firmware .

Ciao, Piero.

It's the compass that's screwed and yes, if nav-software doesn't use the compass then it will work fine; GPS works okay. But I'm trying and hoping to use Google Navigation and unfortunately, that does need the compass.

You can see that there was a 1.5 update, which was uploaded 4 hours ago. It's the first uploading of today.
