cant get phone to root :(

hi everyone, ino im going to sound like a tube but i cant get my phone to root

i have a htc hero on 3 uk and ive tried the goldcard method with 4 different sd cards and none work, ive tried 2 different computers as well

at first i was getting the error about wrong customer or whatever but now i cant do anything as my sd shows up as a logical drive and not a physical drive in the hex editor so it doesnt work

i tried the root in one click too and it doesnt work either

ive tried so many times its frying my head and i just want some help
