com.android.phone force quit

Hi

I have a G1 that is working just well for a while with a SIM 2G. Yesterday I did change the SIM to a new one 3G and the phone was not able to recognize it.

It open every 4 second a force quit message related to process com.android.phone

I did check the USIM with other mobile and it just work fine. Test other SIM 3G on my G1 and it work fine too :-( Just the new one is not recognize.

Did wipe the phone and flash it with a fresh kitchen bake rom (Thank you Paul :-) ) same situation. restore to the nandroid... and same same.

I'm in a dead end... Regarding the fact that G1 is not supported officially in Israel I presume that even going to my provider will not help.

Did check all that was possible to do in the web but nothing help. it's 100% related to the USIM but I have no clue how to manage it.
