I have a premium ock rom (i think its the latest one) and i'm having problem with the weather on home screen.

When i update it it threw me weather of some russian city (zheleznodorozhny) i now i cant set my city back.

Tried registery editing but it doesnt work becouse it reverst back to this as soon as i update it.

Would it be possible to just disable that weather, so it would be like in style of "tap on screen to update"

Wanna tried this weather and now i cant even get my city niether my old settings back..

Don't worry. It will change back as soon as you will update from another location. Happened to me to. I tried updating from a new location several km away and everything back to normal.

after long time i have searched for a solution.. i had an idea.

in first time you open the manila wheater update at home screen its asks you you accept "google access".

Obviously this had something to do with the google maps. so i had installed the google maps 4.0.

connected to the wifi lan to get google maps work and went outside to get gps recaption.

(you have to change in google maps GPS-ON)

google maps worked fine and its showed me my correct location and city.

i closed google maps & magiclly - the wheater at the home screen UPDATED TO THE CORRECT CITY STATUS !!!

just to check this is the right solution i had a hard reset agian - and YES !! this is the answer !!!

I hope it will help you  :P

I'm having the same trouble. I'm in NY, and it showed me in some city across seas. LOL

I did the same thing with Google Maps. Got my GPS locked on, and it showed me in the correct city, but when I went back to the home screen, I was still getting somewhere else's weather conditions. It's got me frustrated. I'm about to go back to CF03, never had issues with that.
