Bro... this (i900) is JUST a... phone, don't get so upset! If you really want to start a "revolution", start one about the young teens or people (like you), about the "dark years" they're coming (no jobs, no future, etc.).

But... "revolution for better custom roms"?! BIG :P !

(Just joking/playing around, don't getting angry).

Anyway... Like "CHE" used to saying: "HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE"! I wish my best to your revolution...

Forget a WP7 update, that will never happen as the phone is just too old now.

Unlikely any current device willbe lucky enough to get an official WP7 ROM.

Indeed, my friend. Many lads here in the forum, just can't get it. They're "dreaming" TouchFLO3D or WM7 into their i900s!!!

I am just.. hoping for a stable and official winmo 6.5 for the chefs to cook.. is that not possible? who are the dreaming ones?

What do you mean official??there never was and there never will be for the omnia i900 and to be honest there is no need.Why? you may ask because official ROM's are old news and most people flash to the latest releases and official roms are full of crap that you don't use.

I had an original 6.1 Samsung ROM that came with the phone and that wasn't even stable or reliable so whats the big deal with 6.5? Go through the old 6.1 threads and you will see just as many issues as in 6.5.

If your installing 3rd party apps and UI's like M2D,SPB,throttle launcher etc etc, you cant expect it to work 100% of the time and to be smooth and fast always. That's just Windows :huh:

You're better off wishing someone completes android for omnia i900.

IMO that'd be the most realistic direction into getting this device work-able.

Sadly that project hasn't progressed at all.

You will NEVER get a WM6.5 update for the Omnia. Never ever ever ever......if you do, i will be very surprised.

Please like Andrew says, start a revolution for something that will have an impact. Not for i900, it is really old news. I think we got the best out of 12-18 months ago. Now it is cosmetics that we can change.

If you know where i am coming from, then you will understand.

those hoping or dreaming or fantasizing for anything like winmo 6.5 or even 7 'officially' on i900,, are those who made the biggest mistake of just buying an omnia i900 now.

Unfortunately they are not that smartfone literate enough to be able to keep up with the devs in the fone tech world.

WAKE UP !!!!! U just bought an OUTDATED , UNSUPPORTED BY MANUFACTURER, DEAD fone.

U just wasted ur money by throwing it on a really old fone. Good luck salvaging that one!

dont waste ur time, looking for official 6.5... there are plenty of very stable 6.5 ROMs here at modaco,, just educate urself a bit more on how u can flash them and use them

and include an official Firmware/Upgrade of Windows Mobile 6.5 / 7 ROM for all Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 device customers/end-users/consumers to benefit.

I guess we have heard it all then,, there was just this one missing,, petition on facebook..and revolution :( :(

do you seriously think that samsung cares about what you do on facebook??? :o :o

samsung dont give a crap about the omnia any longer. they sold how much they could from that device and they moved on a very very long time ago.

there is no longer a single developer or engineer at samsung working on the omnia i900 anymore,, not even on the omnia 2 i bet.

grow up,, read more .. u will realise that samsuung is currently more interested in selling their bada OS and android and preparing for winmo7 ( which , IMHO, they will sell as many devices as possible on that OS when it comes out new and fresh and after a few months of support, take a huge dump on those handsets and look to develop on something else)

heres is someone who is more of a realist!!

that is right, android had a chance on coming to omnia, but i think only early versions of android can make it to omnia if someone is working on that. recent android versions will not be able to make it to the omnia due to the lack of enough RAM in the omnia.
