Guest Bice Posted April 26, 2010 Report Posted April 26, 2010 So, I decided, to pay for 3G internet, and sometimes I need to use the messenger. I'm using meebo currently, but it's eating up too much megabytes. I'm chatting for 10-15 minutes, and the dataflow is more than 1 megabytes. I don't think that the texts needs such a lots of data flow. What program uses less data for messaging? I don't need the contacts picture, coloured fonts or any other trash, I just want to send and receive quick messages. Any suggestions?
Guest _melchett Posted April 27, 2010 Report Posted April 27, 2010 i'm not sure how much data it uses, but fring does not display pictures, coloured font etc. Might be worth a try. Its a great IM app too!
Guest preetkk Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 (edited) ebuddy I use MSN and Facebook chat with it (both at the same time) and it automatically runs in the background if you press red button but does use alot of battery cause always on if you dont exit it.
